2 Painted Victory Star Destroyers for Star Wars Armada

I painted both these VSDs at the same time, late last year / early this year (2021). The idea was to experiment with different tones of grey, and try out some glazing to on small areas of the hull to add some depth and variety to what is otherwise an unadventurous colour scheme (grey) (don’t tell the Emperor…)

After the hulls were fully dry-brushed you can’t really see many of the glazed panels – the differences in colour are very subtle. In future I’ll attempt to make the different colours stronger so that they stand out. My natural style seems to be quite “understated” so I have to make myself be bolder with colours and highlights etc.
