TIE Phantoms – Cloaking

I bought these TIE Phantoms from ebay, already painted up in the usual Imperial grey colours. 

I wanted to have a go at the cloaking/de-cloaking effect that I’ve seen other people do, usually on X-Wing TIE Phantoms.

I chose to have them cloaking up rather than de-cloaking as it meant that I could just paint the front portion of the models in black, which was quicker. (How lazy, I know!) 

 The blue electrical type effect was really fun to do as its pretty chaotic and hard to make a mistake!
