Painted Separatists for Star Wars Legion

I bought a collection of Star Wars Legion models from eBay where most of them were assembled or half -painted. This lot are the first tranche that were completed.

Cloaks

I particularly wanted to paint a Count Dooku as I loved the character in the prequel films. I was also a big fan of General Grievous. Both of them had cloaks too which I really wanted to paint and get some practice at using dry-brushes to create highlights before adding a coloured contrast paint over the top.

Light Sabres

I still haven’t come up with a satisfactory way of painting light sabres. In the films, light sabres are really very white – only the edge of the sabre shows colour. This is impossible to do with a model so I’ve resorted to having the sabre remain mostly coloured, with some white and off-white dispersed along the blade.
