An opportunity to use purple! Harrah! 😀

Also, an opportunity to use metallic paints. In this case I mixed a silver with purple to give a semi-metallic look. I like this effect – it’s a good halfway house between being not at all reflective and far too reflective. 

I love paintng vehicles and robots as they  give you the opportunity to add wear-and tear effects that you dont get with living creatures.

These guys have been photographed without their shields as they are for sale and I don’t want to assemble them.
