Painted STAP Riders for Star Wars Legion

I bought these guys from eBay; they were assembled but only half painted, so they are ‘eBay rescues”.  

To this end, the task was to paint them up quickly for re-sale, so they only had to look “good enough”. 

I initially painted the STAP units in silver, but they looked rubbish as the silver was “cool” but the riders are “warm” in colour.

I changed to a brown & bronze semi-metallic look which I’m much happier with.  I tend to prefer mixing metallic paints 50/50 with another colour to tone-down the metallic shine – it suits my painting style which tends to be a bit understated.
